How does this wipe prevent scratches on optical lenses?
The WM3402 is made of ultra-soft microfiber. The high fiber density creates a cushioning effect, trapping dirt and dust deep within the fibers rather than dragging them across the lens surface, thus preventing scratches.
Can it be used for cleaning sensitive PCBA components?
Yes. The 160gsm high-density microfiber provides a broader contact area, which significantly improves its ability to remove stubborn fingerprints, oil stains, and ink compared to standard polyester wipes.
Are these wipes suitable for ISO 6-8 cleanroom environments?
Absolutely. WM3402 is highly recommended for precision electronics, PCBA, and medical device assembly. It leaves zero lint and effectively removes microscopic dust and oil residues without ESD risk.
What makes microfiber different from polyester for cleanroom use?
Microfiber has a much higher fiber count per square inch. The capillary action between the microfibers allows solvents to evaporate quickly while trapping dirt, resulting in a superior streak-free and scratch-free finish.
Will this wipe leave residue behind after cleaning?
No. WM3402 features low NVR (Non-Volatile Residue) and extractable ions. It is meticulously cleaned and packaged in a cleanroom to ensure no chemical or particulate residue is left behind.
How is this product tested to ensure quality?
